Deviation Actions
Despite a multitude of RL distractions and stresses, I completed my goal this past month!
*PHEW*
I didn't get to make any environmental installations, partly due to weather and partly due to the distractions and stresses. I do expect rainy weather to interfere, so I might plan for such and make works that interact with the rain. Here's to seeing how this month fares!

Again, if there are any particular works that you are drawn to, please feel welcome to comment and/or request more!
I have certainly appreciated all the attention to my works from these past months. The s, watches, and the comments I received have all been very encouraging!
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

Artist Statement Update
As an artist, I create compositions that are essentially transitory. Much of my work is inspired by diverse visual and tactile cues -- angles, patterns, shapes, texture -- especially those found in nature. My process is often spontaneous, beginning with a simple idea or aesthetic -- balance, color, repetition, scale -- then allowing the environment and materials to guide me through to completion.
The completed works are never truly finished, as they progress through changes over time. I draw fulfillment from creating eco-friendly graffiti where I travel, leaving my mark in the form of earthworks and land art, using natural or easily biodegra
Cylburn Earthworks
I created some Earthworks while participating in a photo walk this past weekend, which was hosted by Antonio E. Amador at the Cylburn Arboretum Association.
I enjoyed the opportunity to not only make more art in a public space, where each work can be discovered and appreciated by unknown audiences. All of the works are temporal, returning to nature and the cycle that is life and death.
365 DoA uploads previously delayed!
I apologize for not uploading the rest of the 365 Days of Art in a timely fashion from August through December. I won't make any excuses. The art will be uploaded over the course of the Memorial Day weekend! I appreciate all the :+favs: and comments that I receive for the works! The support indicates to me what people -- my audience -- appreciate!
365 Days of Art - July
Much of the work from this past month were added along the trails in Paint Branch Park, MD.
I also explored more with paint on natural materials as a precursor to possible commercial ventures. I am open to commissions for these.
I rounded out the works with some functional and decorative assemblages. I am accepting commissions for the functional compositions.
I am open to suggestions for further development of my style, so please feel welcome to give critiques!
